i. Maintain availability of machines for production

ii. Prepare production schedule based on the priority of the order to be serviced
iii. Brief the supervisors and QC team on the production requirement
iv. Check how supervisors have allocated work and that right quantities and quality is being produced
v. Prepare maintenance schedule and brief the maintenance manager on schedule
vi. Approve purchase of any material required for maintenance
vii. Approve material to be drawn from the warehouse
viii. Ensure operators and supervisors are trained on efficient use of resources
ix. Solve any problem faced by the team about production
x. Monitor productivity of operators and address if it deteriorates
xi. Prepare task and behaviour performance report of the supervisors and operators on a weekly basis for annual appraisal
xii. Brief directors on all production and staff performance related issues on a daily basis
xiii. Discuss production plan with directors on a weekly basis
