SkillSet: plc, automation, scada, hmi, programming.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the design and schematics of different analog and digital circuit boards
- Prepare test automation software in LabView for testing PCBs that has both analog and digital components
- Prepare test automation software in Labview that can interact with instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope and power loads to validate the PCBs
- Work with the hardware and hardware validation engineers in the organization to automate the validation, calibration and characterization process.
- Work with the manufacturing team to identify and setup tests at manufacturing
- Root-cause and help fix issues on the hardware
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in an engineering discipline
- 3+ years in testing analog & digital hardware
- 3+ years of experience with hardware testing tools like LabView
- Experience in working with bus protocols like I2C, SPI, GPIO, UART
- Prior experience in creating test automation for PCBs using Labview
